Director and Principal Consultant
Lee-Anne excels in supporting clients to bring disciplined thinking to their organisational challenges and she has a strong reputation for her highly engaging and interactive approach to training.
Lee-Anne works with all levels of government, non-government and industry organisations, to plan for and implement monitoring and evaluation at the organisational, strategic, program and project levels. As a Principal Consultant, her role is increasingly one of ‘trusted adviser’ to our clients, supporting their own effective program design and monitoring and evaluation planning, through mentoring, action-learning, in-situ training or facilitated workshops.
Lee-Anne finds the privilege of improving program effectiveness and making a positive difference to others’ monitoring and evaluation practices significantly rewarding. She also particularly enjoys the challenge of helping others to better distinguish between their real and perceived monitoring and evaluation needs.
With tertiary qualifications in both economics and natural resource management, Lee-Anne has had a varied work history. Prior to commencing in monitoring and evaluation consulting in 2007, Lee-Anne was a biodiversity conservation management planner in Bangladesh. She has managed donor-funded programs in developing countries and taught economics at the University of New England and the National Economics University, Hanoi. She has also delivered a range of contracts with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, the most fascinating of which was walking a 360km section of the wild dog fence to map its condition in one point in time.
After four years supporting the company’s Founding Director, Dr Jess Dart, to manage the business, Lee-Anne became Clear Horizon’s Managing Director in mid-2015.
Outside of work, you’ll find Lee-Anne relaxing with family and friends, hiking in Tassie and New Zealand, and at the theatre.
